NMPAS and Visit Albuquerque join forces to present a very exciting & uplifting program from The Great American Songbook: Popular music of the 1940’s-70’s. Join us for a Happy Hour from 4-6 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at a Mystery Location that provides the perfect setting in which to experience some of the best American popular music in the age of optimism. Imagine that you are driving the family car along Route 66 in the classic car era. One of these beautiful songs comes onto the radio, delivered and made famous by some of the greatest jazz and popular music vocalists of the era: Harold Arlen, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, George and Ira Gershwin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra, Billy Strayhorn, and the list goes on. Ticket holders will receive an email with the location revealed just a few days before the event – and we’ll post it on Facebook and the NMPAS website that week for those who decide to join closer to October 10.
